Why am I not seeing Modal's Checkout on a Dealer.com (DDC) VDP?

Known Issue Summary

Dealers with Dealer.com (DDC) legacy pages may notice buttons on their Vehicle Display Page (VDP) that Modal's Checkout CTAs do not load the first time the page is loaded. This is behavior is caused by Dealer.com. The number of times this happens is rare. 

Modal's support has had issues consistently reproducing this known issue. 

What's does the legacy page look like?

DDC's List / Grid  SRP 

Noticeable differences :

• the new DDC SRP page has a list and grid view on the right side (on the left of the "Sort by" dropdown)
• the new DDC SRP has a grey "Search our inventory" bar at the top of the SRP.
• the new DDC SRP has a wide view while the DDC legacy has a more compact view

Workarounds

A refresh of the VDP page would display Modal's Checkout CTA.
