Privacy Policy Link

Overview

Users are able to view the details about Modal's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by visiting https://www.modalup.com/terms. Modal's privacy policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed. This page is also linked in the footer of the Modal Checkout window. In the bottom right hand corner of Checkout, a user can click on 'Modal privacy' to visit our Terms of Service page. The page then outlines our privacy policy along with any important disclosures. 

Dealer Privacy Policy Link

Modal also allows your dealership to include their own privacy policy link. By clicking on 'Dealer privacy' found in the Checkout footer and seen in the image above, a tab will open to your dealership's privacy policy page. This link can be configured during the onboarding process. Please note that the Checkout session for the customer will be not exited as a separate window opens for the privacy policy page. 

If your dealership does not wish to include their own privacy policy, no problem. The words 'Dealer privacy' by default do not appear in Modal Checkout unless your dealership has configured a link with us.
