Overview

Packed Products are dealer installed add-ons that are automatically included in Modal Checkout. They range from different upgrades and accessories that further enhance the car buying experience. Packed Products can be configured for your dealership during the Modal onboarding process. 

Displaying Packed Products

By default, all configured Packed Products will display with their cost in the price breakdown of Modal Checkout as seen below. These products will factor into the Subtotal as they are already dealer-installed. 

The Packed Products being displayed in the above image are Wheel Locks, Door Edge Guards, and All-Weather Mats. Please be aware that Modal is unable to remove the '(included)' label. 

Display with a Description

If your dealership would like to have a Packed Product included with a description, the add-on will also display in the Upgrades section alongside other optional F&I products. The Packed Product will be listed with an image and a description, however, it will have an 'Included' designation and be pre-selected as seen below. 

Packed Products that display in the Upgrades section will still be included in the price breakdown.
