Overview

 Modal Checkout is separated into three main sections that a customer navigates through: Payment, Upgrades, and Checkout. These categories are then further broken down.  The Upgrades section includes selecting Finance & Insurance products along with Delivery. In the Payment section, customers can add a trade-in to their order and also customize their monthly payment. There is a certain flow that must be followed in the Modal Checkout, however, some customizations can still be made. 

Available Customizations

• Alter the order, remove, or add Finance & Insurance products.
• Remove delivery from the Checkout process.
• Allow a customer to skip the credit application, but still place an order.
• Include Instant Financing/Lease from lenders after the credit application.

Customizations Not Supported

• Alter the overall ordering of sections in the Checkout flow.
  • Some Examples:
    • F&I product selection cannot be moved to before monthly price configuration. 
    • Creating a trade-in cannot be switched to after the credit application.
    • The delivery step cannot be placed before the F&I products.
