Why are the icons not displaying within the Modal buttons?

Summary

By default, the Modal buttons will not display with the small icons in front of the CTA text. However, they can be easily switched on as seen below. 

Once the icons have been turned on, there are still some instance when they may not display. If the buttons are restricted to a small container, there may not be enough room for the icons. 

The icons are configured to show only if there is proper space available. In some cases, if the text within the buttons is too long, the Checkout icons will also stay hidden.
