How does Modal receive inventory data from dealers?

Modal is a robust platform that supports 20+ inventory data feed providers.  Modal has integrations with with leading inventory systems such as: CDK, Homenet, vAuto, Dealer.com, Dealer Socket and VinSolutions.  We advise customers to utilize our existing inventory integrations to speed up on boarding and setup.  

Data feeds are the primary method for obtaining dealer inventory and pricing. Using the feed provider's tools, the dealer will populate inventory and pricing data. Dealers will then give permission to the feed provider to export to Modal.  Data exports come to Modal in a comma-separated values (.csv) flat file.  Depending on the dealer and data feed provider, inventory information can be updated within 30 minutes.  Each feed and dealer is a unique setup.  Dealers chose which data fields and values, including price, to send to Modal.
